Reservation Policies

NOTICE:

SINGLE ROOM OPTION:

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Cancellations occasionally happen due to unexpected circumstances. Fees are applied based on the cancellation timing, as shown below. (Note: Inca Trail permits are non-refundable once purchased, and any cancellation will incur the full cost of the permit).

• 45+ days prior: Only bank fees apply; no refund on the Inca Trail permit.
• 44-30 days prior: 40% of the deposit is non-refundable.
• 29-16 days prior: 50% of the deposit is non-refundable.
• 15-07 days prior: 80% of the deposit is non-refundable.
• 06-0 days prior: 100% of the deposit is non-refundable.

IMPORTANT FOR INCA TRAIL CANCELLATIONS:

Reservations for treks like the 4-day Inca Trail, 2-day Inca Trail, and Salkantay 5-day trek include non-refundable costs, covering permits, porters, cooks, and train tickets. Deposits are non-refundable due to these advance bookings.

NO-SHOW POLICY:

Illapa Peru Trip is not liable for missed departures due to flight delays or cancellations. Additionally, the company is not responsible for luggage loss, accidents, or other incidents outside our control. In cases of unforeseen absences, we can provide documentation for insurance claims.

Note: If a customer leaves the tour voluntarily, any additional expenses incurred are the customer’s responsibility, and refunds will not be issued.

• Hotel reservations depend on space availability.
• Prices exclude IGV for Peruvian nationals.

DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE:

Peruvian nationals with a valid ID and citizens of the Andean Community (Colombia, Ecuador, and Bolivia) receive a $25 discount. International students with an ISIC card also qualify for a $25 discount. Special group rates for parties of 5+ are available—please email reservas@illapaperutrips.com or illapaperutrip@hotmail.com.

HUAYNA PICCHU ACCESS:

The Huayna Picchu climb is limited to 400 visitors daily. We suggest booking well in advance, as entry is unavailable once fully booked. The $20 entry fee is additional to the tour package.
