The Morning City Tour Cusco is the perfect start to connect with the fascinating Inca culture. This tour takes place in the mornings, ideal for those who want to visit the most important tourist sites in Cusco, such as Coricancha Temple, Sacsayhuamán, Qenqo, Puca Pucará, and Tambomachay.

Highlights of the Day (Qoricancha – Sacsayhuamán – Qenqo – Puca Pucará – Tambomachay):

The tour begins at 9:00 AM with a visit to the Santo Domingo Convent – Qorikancha, a place that highlights the contrast between Inca culture and Catholicism, where we’ll observe various construction techniques from the era. Koricancha, with its impressive Inca architecture, was a religious center primarily dedicated to the Sun God (Inti).

We then continue to Sacsayhuamán, a majestic Inca site known for its massive stone structures, some weighing up to 200 tons. After exploring, we’ll proceed just 5 minutes away to Q’enqo, an intriguing site with altars believed to be for ceremonial sacrifices. Next, we visit Puca Pucará, a fortress that was part of the Inca Empire’s defensive complex.

Our final stop is Tambomachay, a temple dedicated to water worship, also known as the royal baths of the Inca, renowned for its aqueducts, canals, and waterfalls. We conclude the tour by returning to Cusco city, near the city center.

CITY TOUR CUSCO
